Pune and Mumbai…

Pune and Mumbai are the two most well known cities of Maharashtra. If one is known as the “Oxford of East” or the “Cultural Capital of Maharashtra the other is known as the “City of Dreams” or the “City that never sleeps”. Don’t be surprised if you find Punekars and Mumbaikars debating as to which city is the best as it has been a debate that has been going on and on without any outcome because both the cities are unique in their own ways and in the end everything comes to one’s perspective of looking at things.

If you are someone who enjoys a fast paced life then Mumbai is the city for you, whereas if you are someone who loves peace and believes in living every moment of your life then Pune is the city for you.

Talking about lifestyle and culture both the cities are known as cosmopolitan cities, Mumbai had always been that way as it has been the home to people from different parts of the country, whereas Pune is becoming one now due to booming IT sector and the city being a home to number of youths who have been coming across from various parts for education, but still Pune has bit more traditional touch to it.
